Biggest crowd(s)?

I think it's obvious Muse will draw the largest crowd of the weekend, no doubt about that, but which other bands will get large crowds, do you think?

I reckon Pulp and The Strokes will both get good sized crowds. Can also see Elbow and Madness being pretty large draws.

Then I also think Beady Eye and The Streets will ram the NME tent out.

I thnk White Lies will have a big crowd in the nme.

Madness will have a big crowd. Elbow will have a crowd which will get bigger as their set goes on, i think.

I agree that muse will have the biggest, and pulp/strokes will both get big crowds. I also think that MCR will have a decent sized crowd.

i would say Janes Addiction, but seeing as PULP are on at same time, i doubt it will be overally massive like pendulum last year where it was rammed

but Enter shikari might draw a big crowd & the horrors, well for that tent anyways :P

Offspring, madness, muse, the streets, crystal castles, pulp, the strokes.

MCR will be playing to tumbleweed hopefully so FR never book them as headliners again.

Over the years the lock-up has been on a variety of different days, generally avoids the 'rock day' on the main stage. I think one year it didn't and it was slim pickings for me on the dance tent day.

If lock up isn't Sat/Sun at Reading, then those days would be pretty light on the rockier side of the spectrum.

Depending on how The Vaccines' album does nearer to the festival, they could potentially do a mumford, even though the NME tent will be a lot bigger.

Muse will get a good crowd, as will Pulp, Strokes and Madness.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
