I'm 16 and know about 3 people who like Florence & the Machine. I also know tonnes of people who love Kasabian. In my opinion, Kasabian are the bigger band in regards to R+L's demographic. I do see Florence headlining though, unfortunately.

That's a representative sample right there. Who cares who's bigger? Both play arenas, both could headline. Nobody said ALL the headliners had to be huge. Really they just need to be bigger than the bands below them.

Kasabian are bigger than Florence! Surely? Kasabian would get the bigger crowd hands down, they're massive. I know about 2 people at uni who are big Flo fans, but just about every lad and a lot of girls are into Kasabian in a big way. I would bet my thumbs that Flo will not headline this year.

Even though Kasabian are much more a V Festival band than a R&L band? There's a lot of people who did give a shit wether Kasabian are playing R&L or not.

FATM Won't headline. she isnt headlining hurricane or southside festival but she's playing, and she doesnt headline anywhere else in the world. Not a headlining act IMO.

Somethings I disagree and debate with Neil about but one is not his knowledge of if a band can headline somewhere or cannot.

She'll sell out quicker than Kasabian will. It's like the thing that Kasabian were going to do their own Stadium gigs, they couldn't sell out totally an arena tour, my m8 went to the NIA I think and the capacity was not a sell out.
