It could actually be Coldplay, they are back in Their last date in America is something like 11th August and they return to Europe on August 28th to play in Denmark, could Easily play R&L too. Wouldn't really fit in with the usual Reading headliner, but it does seem like it's 'cool' to like Coldplay now.

I want it to be the Cure, if it's the Cure, i think i'll definately go!

TO me that looks like the North of England, and possibly a green bit in the south. But the most obvious bit of Green in england is clearly north?

Yes I think the thing it with the southern bit, it's hard to tell as the distorted magnified part could well make the lower green mark more to the east than it actually is.

I dunno? I'm sticking by the "they aren't playing 2 consecutive days in a row" theory. If they were to play Latitude or Hard Rock Calling they'd be playing for 2 or 3 days in a row drifting between England and Spain. But there are no other dates that are that close to each other. They just seem to be taking time between each show... the only real Hole in their thing tour schedule is R/L's.

At least I hope.

Biffy, Blink, Nickleback, Coldplay, AC/DC, Daft Punk, GNR, KOL, Lenny Kravitz, The Verve, and thats just off the top of my head. I think if it doesnt turn out to be 'The Cure' then its literally anyones guess!

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
