Very pleased to see Hercules And Love Affair as TBC, but odd to see they're down for West Holts. With the apparent booking of them, and M.I.A on West Holts, it appears they're maybe taking West Holts in a different musical direction this year? I know Mos Def was booked last year, but it seems to be going a different way. Would be perfect for OFWGKTA though

Jimmy Cliff and BB King seems like a great day on Friday though.

Anyway, main point of the post was Hop Farm line up. It's the week after Glasto, and last year nearly a third of the acts played Glasto. Out of the line-up announced today, I think it pretty much nails on Brandon Flowers, but also puts Bryan Ferry in the group possible for legends slot? Also looks to suggest a slot for Death Cab For Cutie, who are in U.K for Foo's MK gig as well. Maybe high up other for them?

It's the apparent Saturday line-up which interests me. Songkick are reporting Saturday's line up is Morrissey, Iggy And The Stooges, and Lou Reed (which in my view is a very good line-up). I'm really hoping now, my wish/prediction of Morrissey for legends slot is coming true. Would love to see Iggy back again, but where would they play? Can't see them headlining Other. Lou Reed would be incredible, but again, where would he play?

Morrissey for a slot would be great but not sure where he'd fit on the line up, I know hes classed as a legend on here but outside of the forums how many lazy pyramid family groups looking for a singalong to sunday afternoon greats like tom jones and neil diamond are gonna be elated with Morrisseys moody performance. Id love to see him live but not sure if the legends slots the right place for him.

West Holts always has a very eclectic line up. Excited by the possibility of Hercules and Love Affair - though would prefer them in the dark.

Morrissey at Benicassim in 2006 was one of the worst things I've ever seen

Perhaps this means he has some new material? Been awfully quiet on that front since the Swords tour etc...

Also heard from a friend that City and Colour is playing Hop Farm as well, no idea if theres any basis to that but I'd love to see him at Glastonbury as well. (Turns out he actually isn't now)

Morrissey at Liverpool Echo Arena was my first ever gig, how shortlived it was...

Would see him over pretty much anyone still, though I doubt he'll play Glastonbury again after 2004

I'd love to see Iggy again. Last time was at Leeds festival some years back, wasn't expecting much and hadn't planned on seeing him but it was excellent and I've wanted to see him again ever since.
