Im with Tom on this one. Shes part of a corporation, a frontwoman for a corporation, dare say a conglomerate. Music, perfume, clothes, Pepsi etc. No doubt a talent and will put on a good show, but no my buzz at all.

As for Crazy in Love – will go down a treat on the Pyramid stage, the Beebs song of Glasto 2011, no doubts.

Personally, I prefer the original.

I've been pondering this over the last day or two. Now I'm a 38 year old music snob, spent my youth amongst b-sides and imported Japanese live albums of obscure indie bands. Want to know the best Band of Holy Joy album? Need that elusive Aloof remix of Primal Scream? The first Chemical Brothers vinyl when they were still called the Dust Brothrs in homage to the American duo? I'm your man.

These days I don't listen to the radio, I don't get much/any exposure to new music really. I don't listen to enough new music. Put a gun to my head, I couldn't hum a tune by Kasabian, Biffy Clyro or Arcade Fire. Literally not if my life depended on it.

But I recognise at least 3 songs by Beyonce. That means she's f**king massive. If she's managed to get into my consiousness, she's got to be a f**king enormous act. And yeah, watch that clip above, there's a proper thrill about crazy in love. It's a hell of a f**king tune
