Stephen Marley. :D

Or Julian, or Damian (with or without Nas). Or how about the Abyssinians? They're touring the UK next month.

Dennis Bovell would be superb. Or any of these: Steel Pulse (again). LKJ. Ini Kamoze. Twinkle Brothers. Junior Murvin. Eek-a-Mouse. Horace. Lee Scratch Perry. Johnny Clarke. Max Romeo. ....?

Best of all would be Junior Byles, but that would be wishing for a bit too much I fear, given the state of his health.

Sadly, too many have been dropping dead lately. Gregory, Sugar, and more. :(

We've already got Jimmy Cliff of course. :D

There's a superb young white reggae band from Leicester called 'By The Rivers'. Their first EP is a little bland, but they were hugely better live and went down a storm at last year's Summer Sundae.

Completely excited for Jimmy Cliff. If Glasto fails to deliver on the reggae front i'm getting a boomtown fair ticket. A great band would be East Park Reggae Collective, they played my union a couple of weeks back and it was fantastic.

there's a brilliant indie/reggae band from sheffield called "Arkham Karvers"

really taking the sheffield scene by storm, I'd love to see them at glasto.

they're currently attempting to get on the bill at y-not festival

they need people to vote for them though! if you have a spare minute please go onto this facebook status, and "like" the comment that says arkham karvers!

you may need to like the y-not festival page first to do so.

they're a relatively new band, trying to do something a little different.

apologies for the spam.

    • Israel and Lebanon agree to a ceasefire...problem is Hezbollah, and problem with Hezbollah is Israel. Israel should withdraw, put onus solely on Hezbollah...who are already weakened, which would then strengthen credibility of the Lebanese govt. But with Netanyahu in charge that is unlikely.
    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival? We would like to know how much money we should prepare for the festival. Beer, Wine etc. 5€, Gin tonic, Whishkey Cola were 6-6.5€, food 10€    Is there a bus from the festival site to the city center? And are there any stops along the way? No offical info yet, but ussualy there are free festival buses from Ljubljanica to festival site, with few stops on the way. Nice to get to the festival but crowded from festival back to the city.   Where is the best place to find an Uber/Bolt to return from the festival site? Petrine ulica   Are there any shaded areas to take a break from the strong sun? Yes, i think there is some.
