It's not a rumour, it was in the paper that Chad said they have 'festival dates booked' it's just not specified which festivals.

I actually enjoyed them in 2007. I saw them at V in 2001 and didn't think much of them then.

Tell a lie RHCP have been confirmed as headliners (along with The Strokes) at Summer Sonic in Japan in August.
