My birthday today - 58 - and just catching up on the Ray Davies programme from Monday. 1964 first number 1 - I was there at the start and the programme finishes with his performance last year - I was also there. Watching the programme shows what a genius he is and makes me thankful that I have grown up with all the phases of his music and that he is as good, if not better today, than when he started. Roll on June when the memories of Waterloo Sunset can be revisited in a field in Somerset!!
