Funeral for A Friend played King Tuts in Glasgow, a 250 capacity venue.

They also played Bongo Club in Edinburgh, an even smaller venue. I think they'd suit the smaller intimate stages more.

So Mike Davies says the Lock Up will be announced in a couple of weeks, looks like they're waiting until after the two Descendents shows next week. He also described the line up as 'perfect', he would say that though.

Since the Lock up looks like its going to be announced at the end of May (after slam dunk), I wouldn't be surprised if we stole a few acts from there, Gold finger? Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish?

Personally I'd love something like

R - Sat / L - Sun

Less than Jake

Dropkick Murphys

Four Year Strong

Goldfinger

Set Your Goals

R - Sun / L - Fri

Funeral For A Friend

Frank Turner

Flogging Molly

As much as I'd love it, i seriously doubt LTJ and Goldfinger will play. Goldfinger rarely come over here anymore, don't see them coming back over so soon after Slam Dunk.

I think we'll get something like this:

Dropkick Murphys

Flogging Molly

Millencolin(playing Pennybridge)

Devils Brigade

Old Firm Casuals

Street Dogs

The Flatliners

NOFX

Descendents

Social D

Frank Turner

Capdown

H20

The Aggrolites

Big D and the Kids Table

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
