only bands id rather see on the farm would be zep or floyd and fat chance of those two. can just imagine by-tor and the snow dog on the bandstand. took my first ever trip watching rush on the permanent waves tour in 81. saw em again on moving pictures and again in 04. always an absolute pleasure. we can only dream!

i saw the Yes set. They were actually slotted for a full 2-hr slot in the mid afternoon (check your program if you don't believe me) but some shite act before them went way over, and instead of playing the full set, they only did about an hour

I I found a whole load of old stubs a few years ago, unfortunately I have been less OCD in the last few years, at least I was able to check that one. The setlist looks amazing, lost the link now but I am sure you can find it. Would be fun next June.

I was at the NEC when A Show of Hands was recorded, it would amazing to have them at Glasto, just can't see it somehow though, I think Download or Sonisphere would be more likely....

I personally think they may be nailed for High Voltage if it takes place again next year. They would have plenty of room for a headline set and have the perfect prog friendly audience - much more so than at Download or Sonisphere. I'd love to see them at Glastonbury but I really question how many of the audience would even have heard of them. A headline slot is never going to happen - it might have in the early years but not anymore. Think of the number of classic prog bands that are still going strong. Have any of them ever been booked since the mid 80's? Very few spring to mind - Curved Air, Space Ritual and a few others. High Voltage had STACKS of them on a deadicated stage - Asia, Marillion, Steve Hackett, Uriah Heep, Magnum, Argent, Focus, Wishbone Ash- and there was even more prog orientated music on the two larger stages (ELP and Opeth being the most obvious).It was seriously good but the only band at High Voltage that has ever played Glastonbury is Marillion (when Fish was still fronting them).
