green day and muse don't cover the "indie" headliner. you can't compare those 2 bands with arcade fire in terms of their music, and you also can't compare those 2 bands with other potential "indie" headliners for 2011 like the strokes, the pixies, kasabian.

it'll be foo fighters, the strokes and green day. watch this space

Ignoring all of the posts that have been made since the starter and applying my rule "if you love one headliner, and quite like one other and the 3rd doesn't matter" the suggestion of these thres fills me with much joy.

Roll on 2011!

    • I've been told beer will be cheaper until 6pm. Anyone can confirm?   Not like i'll drink more than 1-2 in 38 C degrees.
    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
