can anyone help? on ticket day (of which i was unsuccessful) i was getting updates whilst waiting for the booking page to re load , i think these were from the official glastonbury site or maybe twitter (of which im not sighned up to) im sure that i was given an alternative booking number to ring : 08712200260 , this would cost 10p a minute. well i did ring this and was put on hold and disconnected a lot , when i say a lot £90.00 alot . where did i get this number from? can you help ?

And this is the reason I use the net on T Day. Despite all its annoyances.

I've only tried to ring up See once before when I had to cancel my G ticket for this year, it took 2 attempts just mid week, well after lunch, both times being put on hold for well over 20 mins...bloody annoying. Gave up the first time.

I think the fact the very few people managed to get through via their phonelines and some of those who got through still didn't get tickets as the agent the other end then had to try to establish an Internet session just like any other punter would question somewhat the legitimacy of that system.

That's not correct - the See operators have a different but similar system, not the same system.

I suspect their delays in keying on orders was the result of the back-end databases being overloaded.
