Have to totally agree with your dismissal of the earlier "it's too cold or whatever to go out and do stuff" stylee comment tho. As Ye Olde Bike is my only form of transport, it gets used for a good few miles most days come what may.

Hey all - is it too late to join in on here? Been lurking around the thread for a while and thought I would finally make myself known :) as I went to my first WW weight in tonight. 1.5lbs off. Now for the other 6stone! lol. Ah well. I'm aiming for about 2.5stone off by Glasto. On top of the weightwatchers thing, walking around 2.7 miles a day and going to Zumba classes once or twice a week - if nothing else it gives me some wicked moves to bust out in front of the Pyramid stage, I'll show Beyonce what's what I will!

Anyway, hark at me waffling. Many apologies! :)

Always room for a another one :-)

I've done 13.5 lb so far this year , so back down to where I was by Glasto last year, and before I broke my foot :-( last summer and the good loss last year stopped due to no exercise .... 2 stone left to go and hopefully be close to goal by June this year :P

keep it up everyone :D

I have to say, you may think Zumba may look awful, but Zumba plus WeightWatchers has led to losing 6lbs in two weeks, so I can't complain! Haha. It also really does make a difference to you - I have less jiggle already, which is nice. Clothes are fitting better that kind of thing. Next weigh in is tomorrow night so fingers crossed the trend continues, and the goal weight of 2-2.5 off by Glasto will be more than attainable! 2lbs this week. Fingers crossed.

Hope your weigh in this morning went ok cejx!

Haven't been here much glad to see we have a bevvie of paople still trying to get fitter for Glasto, I am stuck! Haven't lost (or gained which is a positive) any weight now for 4 weeks...Can your body get used to what you eat or something? I have joined a gym so swimming and doing a couple of classes and some step/treadmill each week is it really true muscle weighs more than fat or is that just an old wives tale? Someone tell me something positive please? 6 Stone 2.5lb lost another 13.5lb to go...

hey not really got into this thread this year but i've lost just over a Stone since crimbo, and hopefully going to lose another half before glasto, but i'll be happy as long as i don't put the stone back on, lots of gym work and playing american football, great for turning body mass into muscle but a pain for losing weight
