What's Lal's sister called (both in character and in reality?) Ok, I could probably find this on tinternet but cannot be bothered...

She's pretty hot like unlike Smell who just makes me want to puke for some reason.

Just looked the This is England '86 site and they have loads of links. For 1985 they have "AHa, Take on me". I used to use this on my old sony walkman top help with my pace when I was running (The main drum beat was when my right foot would hit the ground. Yes I was fast in them days!! If I am right it took you at a 4min mile pace. Just for a bit though ;)) Simlilar with Katrina and the Waves. Slow your pace with AHA, at a half pace, and then as you get near the end open with Katrina. A near sprint for over 800m.. In the interim you fill your time with New Order and Caberat Voltaire and Frankie. A 10 mile race in full kit just gets swept aside :)

i love smell's character and the way she dresses, but her face is so weird.. and that haircut makes her look even worse.

i don't remember her looking that ugly in the film.

She's got a face like a pie supper. Full of chips.

Is it just me or is it impossible to have any sympathy with Shaun from? The guy made no effort to pass his exams, no effort to get a job, then threw a strop when he found his mum was seeing someone else, years after his dad died, and consequently lost his job. Frankly, he's brought everything on himself.

    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
    • There is also a solid argument from Seventeen already that not enough people actually care if they book them also.
