I think it all comes down to whether the headliners really are already booked, Eavis seems to say these things a lot.

I'm sure we'll see either Radiohead, Coldplay or U2 but the third headliner seems up in the air to be honest. The only female singers I can see headlining next year are Beyonce and Gaga - Depending on Eavis' exact words, Beyonce could do it as she's been there before (but not played). If not, Gaga (who would be better before a headliner I think) it is. Kylie is a remote possibility.

Wild Pyramid speculation

Friday - Radiohead/Coldplay

Elbow

Saturday - U2/Foo Fighters

Morrissey

Sunday - Beyonce/Gaga/Kylie

Snow Patrol/Keane/Some other band like that

Other wild speculation -

Chemical Brothers headlining Other on one of the days?

Kasabian for Other stage as well? Could possibly even headline Pyramid at a push, might wait until 2013

Elbow return for a Pyramid sunset slot

Possibly the Beastie Boys

Morrissey hopefully

Another boiling festival

Fatboy Slim plays somewhere

And most importantly, Bodger and Badger.

It said in the program the the pyramid would turn retro in honour of it being the 40th anniversary of the Glastonbury fair. Does that mean they will make it out of corrugated tin? It also said that performers from that time would perform again

I hope its the Cure, but there nowhere near big enough to headline Glasto anymore, not even on nostalgia

How about Roger Waters, he co-headlined before, and he's doing a world tour of 'The Wall' which happens to end in ~Germany on the 18th June, the week before Glasto

Now I know it would be impossible to do the type of show he was planning on his tour what with the actual wall getting built up and knocked down, flying baloons, theatrics etc...BUT is it possible he could play the show without the theatrics. or a Pink Floyd greatest hits set. Just a thought people.........

cant believe so many people on these forums are talking about lady gaga as a credible headliner.fair do's an earlier slot but no way should she headline.t4 in the park, maybe.the pyramid stage is dumming down big time.

The Ticket price will increase again, The hospitality camping will grow even bigger, the pyramid will be painted Orange, our wristbands will a corporate logo on it, the other stage will be renamed the sony singstar stage, the greenfields will be replaced with a funfair. you wont be allowed in unless you have a pair of ray bans on or you have a facebook account. It used to be somewhere to get away from the ponces and wannabes now there everywhere.

If The Cure aren't big enough, there's no way Waters is. The Cure are an actual headline act currently, and they headlined Coachella the year before last and they're much more suited to Glasto then Coachella, so I think they'd be easily big enough.

For the female headliner I cant see past Lady GaGa

nobodies thinking about mrs jay-z! m.eavis's interview stated that shes been before, but never headlined, beyonce knowles and whatsisname fell in love with worthy farm in 2008, i reckon shes a serious contender for a headline slot in 2011!

I confidently predict the following:

U2 won't play.

Elbow will.

Somebody mainstream pop who needs a career injection (Madonna maybe) will.

Radiohead will headline one night.

I STILL won't manage to check out the circus.

It will rain.

I'll get too pissed too quick one day and be in the tent by midnight.

That last one isn't a prediction, it's nailed on.

Coldplay (ME said they would be back next year)

Radiohead (I reckon park stage was a warm up for next year and with ME saying headliners were in place, he could have signed them there and then)

Kylie (ME has said one of the headliners is female and Kylie might have let slip on a recent radio interview).

U2 will headline 2013
