I'm listening to songs that I heard from bands over the weekend, and it's making me feel all sad! Doesn't feel like this time 2 days ago we were all sat in a field together. Feels like a dream, sort of like it didn't really happen... Give me some Glastobation guys! PLEASEE

It really is a strange feeling you know you have been, but it feels like a dream or a distant memory for the few days after. My theory is that the alcohol plus lack of sleep can affect the way your brain stores memories, combine that with the fact that Glastonbury is a massive audio visual assault on the senses and you have a recipe for a few frazzled braincells!

Coming back to real life is tough..

Am thinking of doing it sober next year just to see how I feel afterwards (probably wont happen though...)

depressed isn't the right word.

but i am really gutted it's over. when i was relaxing in the green fields one day at the weekend, i was just so happy and content, that the thought of going back to normal life (bills, shopping, work, etc) seemed like the most difficult thing ever.. i'm back at work tomorrow and i'm really dreading it. after having the most amazing 5 days of my life, life outside of festivals just doesn't feel right.

but, at least we were all fortunate enough to get tickets and to afford the luxury of festivals. can't wait til next year!

Man, been feeling drained, tired and emotional all day. Went back to my 9-5 job, and it seems pointless (though I know deep down inside it's what pays for the good times).

I was brushimg one of my kid's hair tonight after her bath (she's 4), and we were talking about parents and grandparents.

She said "When you and Mummy die we'll still be little and we'll have no-one to look after us."

Don't know if the tears running down my face were from her words or my Glasto blues.

Probably a bit of both.

I still can't stop welling up at anything. I was in Co-op earlier as Gorillaz came on and the tears nearly came. That post about the kids at bathtime nearly set me off. The ad on the Beeb...you get the picture.

But as I know its only 51 short weeks until I'm home again its not so bad. This year gave me the peace and solace I have been searching for for 15 long years. :D

    • Same here, when the lineup dropped it looked very strong but this year I’m considering more whether I buy tickets for enjoyment or fomo.   Speaking of that dilemma, I caved and bought a Turnstile Piece Hall ticket so I’ll see you there 😂
