I don't, he's had long enough to prove hmself and every time i've seen him he's been awful, same can be said about obertan, both completley out of their depth at utd and i can see them both going in the summer alongside carrick, don't know what's happened to him but he's gone from a very good midfielder to one that can't even pass the ball

We enter 3 competions each year. We have no chance in one, and a slim chance in the other two. Not bothered by being relegated, been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Can't judge after seeing just two live games, but wasn't impressed with the standard of football in La Liga. Valencia were very poor, particularly as they're 3rd and were playing at home against lowly Sporting Gijon. The Almeria v Deportivo game was more entertaining - and the ground was a useful insight into how shit the OS will be, given that it has an athletics track round it - and even with it only holding 22,000, the sightlines were good but viewing distances just far too far.

Mestella was impressive in terms of the steepness of the three tiers with seats close to the pitch, though it is falling apart - be interesting to see whether their new ground ever gets finished - it's sat dormant for 2 years due to them having run out of money...Thought Valencia was a cracking city with decent vibe and some nice architecture.

valencia were very very average against rangers. whether it was rangers that made them look average, i dunno. but i wouldn't have thought so. spanish football is a bit like the spl now though isn't it? two great teams and a lot of average and crap to make up the numbers. though obviously on a slighty better scale

In ASDA, they sell 100% cod fillets. What that actually means is that the only thing they have added is water and breadcrumbs; the actual cod content is about 85% (I'm doing that from memory, but it's definitely between 80 and 90).

Wouldn't surprise me if ownership is similarly defined in all of or parts of the USA. Perhaps a stake large enough to do whatever you want might be considered "100% ownership", even if you don't own 100% of the shares?

The stuff they're wanting hidden might not be something dodgy in itself - it might be something as simple as not wanting their every move analysed by Utd fans (or even Utd haters), just as the consequence of Utd being a very public brand. It might be as straightforwards as that.

But I doubt it. If that was what was driving it I would have thought they'd have done it sooner than now.

Me too, they’ve been very secretive even though theres constant rumours about the Qatar buyout. If they’ve covered these PIK loans with a “future sale” or whatever though it could be a good thing. Future sale being Qatar obviously.

The Qatar thing is complete and utter bollocks. How many times do each side have to say that before you'll believe them?

They might have sold an option like that I suppose - tho it's a hugely steep price if that's all it is. Far more likely is that they've taken out another loan to pay off the PIKs (and of course the terms on that new loan will be better), and the move to Delaware is simply so that no one can see that's what they've done.
