Its got to be Cornish, Norwegian or Irish, I took a 33.333% gamble.

Gah- Irish, close but no cigar. Should have done that at first, although then I wouldn't have done it as I would have felt bad,

Really looking forward to the Arselona match tonight. will be good viewing.

Gattuso must be mental to square up to Joe Jordan. He scares the shit out of me! His face when they were holding gattuso back was priceless

Check this out for the worst “team news” report ever about the match tonight from the Beeb.

"Arsenal playmaker Samir Nasri has been included in the squad after two weeks out with a hamstring injury.

Boss Arsene Wenger says he will decide on Wednesday whether Nasri will start.

Midfielder Abou Diaby is not available because of a calf problem suffered on international duty with France but Tomas Rosicky returns to the squad.

Spanish champions Barcelona, who knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League last season, have most of their main players available for selection."

Without debt.

Under the two previous muppets the Torres money would have been spent servicing a debt. Now that hole has been plugged LFC will hopefully be there or thereabouts when it comes to getting the players they want.

Where we need similar decisive action from Fenway is on the stadium. Their dilly dallying on this sofar is a worry. Never been a better time to negotiate / build / renovate a stadium. They need to act now.

what a fantastic performance and result

its still a very tall order at Camp Nou, but ARSEnal must take great heart and belief from that

their not playing Gandalf, Merlin and Paul Daniels, merely men, who can be beaten

chuffed for them, really am!!

brilliant bit of journalistic hyperbole on the bbc this morning

North London, in the space of 24 unforgettable hours, laid claim to the title of European football's epicentre as Arsenal followed up Tottenham's wonderful win against AC Milan at the San Siro by flooring the Champions League favourites with a late one-two.

it does when you consider the wrongly judged offside goal and arshavins handball. come on neil, blinkers off :P

I'm very happy to agree it was a good goal and not offside, but if I were the ref I wouldn't have given a handball - off the head like that onto the arm is an accident, not deliberate, and while they're sometimes given mostly they're not.

So yeah, it shouldn't have been a win - but Arsenal still played their part in the game very well. They were of course outplayed (who wouldn't be against Barca?), but as the game went on they had an increasing part in it.

Wilshere was fantastic, as was Koshelny (sp?). And it was funny to see just how terrified Barca were of Theo (who had a pretty decent game too - with some important darting back to defend on occasions).

Turns out I spoke to soon yesterday, and we ARE still at Ashcroft's mercy for the time being.

Think we need a new chant, to the tune of pack up your troubles in your old kit bag:

We'll all vote Labour if you don't sod off

So sell, sell, sell!

You hardly pay the players and they share kit bags

Come on boy where's your style?

You bought us just for profit

It never was worthwhile soooo...

We'll all vote Labour if you don't sod off

Now sell, sell, sell!
