It was a very soft penalty, that had it gone against my team i'd have been outraged at, but you see them given. Players go down supidly easily these days, and sadly that's the way it is.

I've heard that Walcott said he dived, but I've not heard what moment he was referring to. It can't be the moment he won the penalty tho, as he was defo dragged back and he stayed on his feet.

This is the key point, a sad one, but true.

But my point is: it's never thought of as 'sad' when it wins you the game. All the normal guff comes out that "if the player is touched the player he can go down".

If any team deserved to win yesterday it was defo Utd. I have no problem with the sending off, and overall I have little problem with the result. But I do have a problem with how the result was achieved, and I do have a problem with how often such things happen at Utd - it's clearly an approved team tactic, rather than a split second decision of the player.

He said it in reference to the first incident which was seemingly given and then overturned.

I'd guessed it was probably about that one. Just to be clear, I don't approve of that any more than I do any other occasion.

Until it is though i will cheer on when my team gets a dubious penalty and moan when the opposition does.....just like everyone else.

Yeah, but no one does it quite like Man Utd. They're the most talented cheats in the league and it isn't a coincidence.

Diving? Theres been a handfull of incidents over the last 5 years I can think of.

I can't remember if it was the last time Utd played Liverpool or the time before that - but that was yet another time that Utd won a match by diving (it was Valencia on that occasion).

No more than any other club, less actually.

Diving - perhaps. Stopping the opposition via fouling, very definitely not.

Just because you're unable to grasp that I dislike cheating doesn't make me what you'd like to believe for your own purposes.

Man Utd are as guilty for this as every other team in the league and i think the whole attitude is horrible.

But like i said, until the FA decide to actually do anything about it nothing will change and teams will continue to try it in order to win.

Agger shouldn't have put his foot in.

Some people clearly can't think beyond the end of their nose.

Regardless of Agger putting his foot in, berba shouldn't have dived.

Berba diving is no less foul play than anything Agger did (in fact, to my mind, it's worse: Agger was trying to be within the rules of the game, even if he failed at that; Berba wasn't). That is the point that some are refusing to consider of being of any relevance, when it is.
