Typical!!! I predicted Hughton would be the first gone but didnt bet on it. I however thought it would be more to do with fans unrealistic expectations which doesnt seem to be the case. I find it funny that many of their fans would take shearer back, surely they know from watching match of the day and his previous reign he really isnt cut out for football management.

Muscle strains pretty expected coming back, but pretty gutting to hear it's a tear. Be interesting whether he hadn't realised due to the painkillers he's presumably on, or whether had realised and overstretched it through desire not to have to come off after just 5 minutes. Can't have been easy for him.

moronic? Care to tell me why it's moronic to state the truth that in today's terms that (some of) the fans of WHU are near the top of the trouble-causing league of fans?

And why is moronic to state the truth that trouble is more likely from those (some) fans when WHU are playing a club which also has a bigger rep of trouble than many other clubs?

Your fans are reaping what some of them have sown. Until the trouble-causing ones are wearing badges so they can be identified, then it's standard practice for the old bill to lump them all together as trouble-makers, no different to how they're approaching the student protests. I'm not saying it's right, I'm saying it's a fact of life, and a far from unreasonable one.

Just be glad that your glorious leader Maggie isn't still in number 10, cos she'd have had WHU shut down by now going by the view of football she had when in power.

Instead I'll make another point about the moronic decision the WMP have made.

I think he means moronic in the sense that it was completely irrelevant to the point. The point being that the incident caused by disruptive Birmingham fans has f**ked it up for himself and other innocent WHU fans.

yet the point I'm making is that restrictions aren't only being put in place because of what has happened, they're also put in place because of what might happen in a forthcoming game.

And the simple fact is that something is more likely to happen when WHU come to town than is the case for the majority of other clubs, and that's far from an irrelevance to the old bill tasked with lessening any issues as much as they can in advance.

(Just so it's clear, I'm not trying to suggest that WHU has the worst problems, but it DOES have greater problems than most other clubs).

I don't even think it's about club affiliation, just c**ts f**king it up for genuine fans.

I don't think that was much the case with the Brum derby but it might be more of the case when WHU visit, because of their reputation.
