no, 2+2 equals 4. you say rangers get a bye into the champions league. they don't. you're being a retard. still.

They do do. By the fact that they're guaranteed entry via the shit competition that's the SPL.

They're demanding that the Chumps works on an even financial basis. So why aren't they making the same demand for the SPL?

Don't come back with "it's not possible". It's no less possible than it is for the Chumps.

But the difference is that Rangers are in the position to bring it about themselves for the SPL - it's not like those other clubs would say "no we don't want some of your money". But they don't.

So they should shut up with their hypocritical crap about the Chumps.

my arguement has nothing to do with smiths comments on wanting to be closer to the big boys. it's about you saying rangers get a bye. when they clearly don't.

In effect they do.

When was the last year they weren't in the Chumps since there's been 2 places for Scottish teams? The answer is .... never!!!

The structure of the SPL near enough guarantees that Rangers will never finish lower than 2nd. So in effect they have a bye into the Chumps.

they're demanding f**k all! walter smith made some comments in a post match game.

he essentially said "the rules should be changed because we keep getting beaten". And then he probably stamped his feet to make the point more strongly, just like a two year old going "it's not fair". :)

It's ridiculous until such time as he recognises and acts upon the same claim by teams he plays against in Scotland.

and in effect, one scottish team gets a bye to the group stages. just as three english teams do. and three spanish. glasgow rangers football club do not get a bye into the champions league group stages. grasp this please. cos if celtic win the spl next year, you'll be saying the same for them. so where are they this year? oh look, they came 2nd in the league and lost the qualifier and aren't in it.

The qualies are a part of the Chumps. So Celtic were in it.

You get out of those qualies if you're good enough. They ain't good enough. Get over it.

you've taken that as what he meant.

No, that's what he meant. He meant that it's OK for Rangers to reap their advantage in Scotland, but that it's wrong for any club to do the same thing in Europe.

He explicitly said it about Europe, so that's not my interpretation.

He said nothing about the situation for Rangers in Scotland - clearly because it doesn't bother him, and because it pleases him.

So he's being the hypocrite I've been saying he's been, and he's annoyed about something that he's happy about IF it benefits Rangers.

He's being a turd. A very smelly one.

    • Id suggest they would need another new album before they play again - Otherwise the show is going to probably be very similar to the one they played at the last festival.
    • Absolutely not, I dont know of it selling out but they needed TFG and Skyvip to shift them. Biffy aren't either and they didn't go to TFG and I wouldn't say Kasabian are either and they sold it out the quickest. Liam Gallagher did Finsbury Park as well and subbed the Pyramid Stage, Noah Kahan did two nights at BST and subbed the Pyramid though that's a rare one. Finsbury itself will definitely not grant you top spot, that field can hold 100k      That's fair. I'm definitely in the camp myself that Fender and Harry are most likely.
    • Music festivals call for tax relief as fields fall silent – Channel 4 News https://share.google/gTz3uQusmhvYClP2X
    • I don't think he will announce restarting north sea drilling.    He'll hint at it instead and kick it down the road.   And the plan isn't for new licenses anyway.
    • LCD Soundsystem seem perfect for the outdoor circuit. I could definitely see them doing that.
