Can't see Elbow playing the Clash. But if the Libertines were on the Main Stage I'd be all over this like a rash. The Strokes did the same thing last year thou. That surprised me, so not beyond Rockness's means.

Agree about Elbow, they're nearly headline material for a big fest so I doubt they'd do the second satge at a Medium. As for The Libs, I think they got about a million for Reading and Leeds so I very much doubt they'd be at Rockness.

just before i start i wanna say i dont have much love for the libs so dont care wither they are at R-ness or not next year but does anyone know how much they forked out for the strokes? apparently they only got back together because "the money was so mad" or something along those lines

sure I'll be told where to go on this suggestion BUT........

Saw Mark Ronson (and the business international) at the ABC on Friday. BRILLIANT! Not exactly groundbreaking or original but lots of fun. Had the crowd fairly rocking.

Think they would be a good shout for the main stage

    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
