I could listen to late 80's/early 90's house music ALL DAY LONG. Such a creative and fresh time for music.

Reckon it was the first music I actively sought out myself rather than had spoonfed to me by parents or the telly. For a kid born at the end of '76 I was raised on Beatles and U2 around the house. Guns N Roses was everywhere when I was about 11 but from the age of 12/13 etc all I could listen to was stuff with synths, sirens and hoover noises - the more melodic the better. It really felt like a youth movement.

Great thread. Havent heard True Faith or that "Far Out" track in AGES. They are CHOONS.

Here's some more tunes that I would still throw on and remember a time when dance music meant the world to me. Not in any chronological or logical order.

"Beat Dis" - thunderbirds quite literally were go.
