Officially I don't think you would be able to. You could sell on the "black market" and no doubt make a tidy profit. But then you would miss out on everything else the festival has to offer. Seriously one act cancelling on the Pyramid, whoever they are, wouldn't stop me wanting to go.

If you bought a ticket to this year's Glastonbury, but are no longer able to attend the Festival, then please be aware that Friday (May 7th) was the refund/cancellation deadline day. Please note, tickets can not be transferred to another name, nor can they be sold on.

Course i dont just like U2 jesus, ive been to leeds like 4 years and just seen lots of bands, im not a muse lover and missed out on U2 uk tour this year, so it was last oppertunity to see them for a while

I think it's a fair gripe, the biggest headliner drops out and some people would like a refund because they bought a ticket based on that band being there. Fair enough if the small print says it's not possible, but don't slate the guy for asking for information. The rudeness of some of the posters in this thread is not representative of the Glastonbury crowd by the way OP, so don't let them put you off.
