Funnily enough- Depeche Mode did enter my thoughts as a potential replacement today.

I am a massive U2 fan so will be disappointed if they don't play- but also big Depeche Mode fan (always liked them but as they're my wife's favourite band have had the pleasure of seeing them live a fair few times)

So a damn fine suggestion

Yes, i'm a huge fan of The Mighty Mode and seen them oodles of times. In some ways they are quite similar, especially through the 90's and as exciting live acts.

Not a huge U2 fan but probably would check them out as I couldnt afford to see one of there own concerts
