I don't know about anyone else but Adebayor has gone up in my estimations from his appearances as a pundit.

Listening to him recalling what happened on the Togo bus at the end of tonight's coverage was quite something.

Sounds like that's him finished with the coverage, due to the birth of his daughter.

It didn't look like an elbow to the chest to me - more a forearm, kept close 2 his body, to protect himself from the player about to run into him. Its the same thing you see all the time when players are battling.

I did wonder whether the Ivory Coast player went down holding his face because he and Kaka clashed heads? It looked like they got pretty close to that from the replays at least.

Such an amazing result for the All Whites. Unbelievable. There isn't even a professional league here. Only one professional team. That guy they sent on at the end works in a bank! OK he was only on for about 15 seconds but he now gets to say that he played in a 1-1 draw against the world champions in the world Cup.

I can't see an elbow being thrust into the guy, I can see Kaka's arm pushing the guy away as he runs into him, which is a completely legitimate action.

Find me anyone who agrees with what you're saying and I'll be very surprised.

Definitely not a red card for Kaka. I can't see the logic of trying to get Brazilian players sent off with about 5 mins to go. The only hope Ivory Coast have of getting through is by Brazil beating Portugal. They will do, but it's more difficult without one of best players in the tournament, as well as a team who'd be quite happy to see Ivory Coast get knocked out now.

Happy ?

It is a simple fact he elbowed him in the chest... The fact you refuse to see it is your failing...

    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
    • Said it before, but if Annie Lennox is available next year, then it would be an absolute crime to instead book anyone else. She's rare and legendary enough that you drop all other plans.
    • I was having a tired day, my apologies 😂
    • I was there with Oxfam too! I got earlies so it was probably me who registered you on arrival 😀
    • Slightly unexpected, but Shambala is discounted on TfG.   Works out at about £215 after discount which is about a third off.
