Going from Lincolnshire?

Guest Alchemy Festival

Recommended Posts

There is an even better festival in Lincolnshire in september that has amazing stuff for kids too. I reckon you should check it out. Its called Alchemy Festival and the organiser is nearly as top a bloke as his missus is a top lass.

But seriously - Love Glasto Love Alchemy - an ace way to see the season out :P:P:P

I'm going from Lincoln.

I'm getting the train down to London on the Tuesday, staying over with family there that night then getting the coach from Victoria on Wednesday, then doing the same thing on the way back (going back to Lincoln from London on the Tuesday after). That way i can get clean and rested before having to go all the way back to Lincoln (and work!), get to go to/from glastonbury with my friend from Brighton rather than alone, don't have to get up so early on Wednesday morning and get to split up the journey a bit.

The traffic problems last year caused mega issues for thousands of Wednesday arrivals quite simply.

A couple of crashes on the M5 and M6 I believe and then something happened in the Shepton area too worsening the problem.

Pezzypops I think came down from Liverpool and it took him 19 hours!!!

it took 14 hours as there was a crash on the M4. we only took 4 hours to get there the other 10 hours were in the queue going 1 mile then waiting an hour and moving another mile. very good weather though lol. we got in and to a pitch site at 2:30 AM and we left Grimsby at 9:30 AM

hopeing it takes alot less this year lol.

I used to work in Lincoln and would get a bus from Hull. It was good because the bus past RAF Scampton (the back way), and if the Red Arrows were flying the driver would stop so we could all get out and watch :P

But in all seriousness, I am certain that the Environment Agency have decided to collapse the foold defences for Lincolnshire and just let the North Sea have it, all on the presumption that no one will miss it :P

I'm from Lincoln and then moved to algarve of Lincolnshire (otherwise known as sc**thorpe). Moved away as was sick of the postcard scenery and upmarket shops - poundland and cliftoncards

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
    • Think this will be it...I think they are a level above trees.
