That is nothing, absolutely nothing, compared to this Irish bloke at Leeds 2004 during the Darkness.

He was dancing round this fire, fell over a good five or six times then decided it would be a good idea to start dancing through the fire. Then after a runs he decided it would be a good idea to do it again, only with his jeans and boxers round his ankles. He jumped through the fire to a few cheers but slipped backwards and was about a foot, stopped only by people grabbing him (above the waist I might add) as he fell, from sitting bare-arsed in the middle of this fire full of burning plastic.

There's something about drunk/wasted peeps making a complete twat outta themselves that kinda always seems to turn even the nicest and most helpful kinda person into a voyeur just waiting for the inevitable to happen isn't there ! I mean, anyone about to fall over or something due to no real fault of their own and so on is practically guaranteed to get immediate assistance from all those around. Oh No. I have so been there. He is not on drugs, he is pissed. I've never taken a class A in my life, but I've worn flip lops most of my adult life. And I've had similar issues as seen in that video. That shit is real. I will testify to it.

And how totally (in)appropriate is "I Would Walk 500 Miles" as the soundtrack to the 2nd vid Exxxxxcellent. However, replace the female in the 1st one with a bloke and insert a bog in front ... and I know exactly how that feels, for several hours unfortunately , although several decades ago I might add and never willingly repeated since !

Anyways, at least his mates did something sensible in the 2nd vid unlike the bunch of complete to$$ers who practically abandoned their mate near to me sat happily munching on an lunchtime Oggie midway to Brothers Bar a few years ago. It was totally bl**dy obvious he was in a real bad way and not necessarily through drink either although he was adamant he hadn't taken anything. Can't remember exactly which year it was now but the year it was generally warm/sweaty but with very frequent monster showers. His mates mostly wandered off although a couple stood around acting as if they weren't with him whilst he was desperately trying (and failing dismally) to curl up on the bench for a kip complaining about being very tired, freezing cold and generally not a happy bunny at all

Like I said, pretty obvious he was in a bad way for some reason or other yet everyone just laughing and/or ignoring him. Wasn't impressed at all. He wasn't wet or anything either and it was pretty warm at the time but he was shivering uncontrollably and so on. Cue an absolutely monster shower needless to say. His few remaining so-called mates do nowt except for put their ponchos/cagoules on and carry on as if the guy wasn't there. Ended up sending some random off to find a steward who could get some assistance, bunging my top and poncho over him to keep him warm(ish) and dry and trying to stop the guy actually falling asleep until someone who knew what they were doing arrived. Was seriously p!$$ed off with his so-called mates mind you He was carted off by the medical guys eventually but not before I'd got totally bl**dy soaked through as had my wonderful Oggie minus just a couple of mouthfuls needless to say.

TBH tho, I really don't think he was p!$$ed at all and he was so adamant that he hadn't taken anything all weekend never mind recently, I have this bad feeling he could well have been spiked by his so-called mates which is perhaps why most of em b*ggered off Having been on the receiving end of spiked drinks many years ago, I can assure you it's not cool and it's not funny either so anyone doing such things or similar totally deserves a slow horrible death not to mention the busted up nose that an ex-mate no doubt still sports after finding himself on the receiving end of the dubious pleasure of being the one and only person I've ever belted bigtime in my life.

Enjoy [insert beverage/substance of choice] responsibly and look after your mates and all that Thinking of spiking someone's drink or whatever ? .. then best be thinking again pretty bl**dy fast
