my thoughts exactly. why fix something that is far from broke. i spent alot of time in the dance village but doubt i will this year, wheres all the techno, drum n bass, breakbeat? instead its been replaced with chav hop and that noisey shit they/i call student house, kissy sellout is crap but it appears he is on twice in the dance village and once in arcadia.

bring back ben sims, surgeon, radioslave, evil nine, freeland and the drum n bass heavyweights that have made the G stage so enjoyable!

come on... you knew before they announced the line up that if you like good alternative forward thinking dance music then glasto is never going to quite be everything you dreamed of.

this is why you need to go to rockness or bestival or glade or creamfields or global.... as well as glasto!

Glasto is great for many many things, dance music is a small part of it (sadly). I love glasto but i know it wont provide everyone i want to see in a year, so just hit up other events that specialise in your particular favourite genre as well as the one that does a bit of everything well (ie glasto).

At least it helps with clashes, there's always so much on at Glasto. I often end up missing stuff in the DV due to other great things on elsewhere. Going to The Glade Festival allows me to then properly focus on the dance music without conflict! :P

G Stage was pretty much my favourite stage at Glastonbury - raving in the pouring rain to Atomic Hooligan and Rogue Element in 2007 and seeing some of the best sets in 2008 from Metric, Evil Nine and Deepgroove - awesome stuff.

If the line-up is indicative of the direction they are heading toward with the dance bookings then sadly this year will almost certainly be my last Glastonbury (that's if I don't cancel my ticket) :P
