Dont know if anyone remembers me mentioning that a mate spent silly money to book a holiday to Cuba as a gift for his girlfriend? They're due to leave tomorrow!

The better half was meant to be coming back to visit for the weekend from NYC on Thursday night - not looking good now :P

Her mums been out there visiting this week and was due to fly back today but flights have been cancelled. Thats actually quite funny because her mum will probably enjoy the extra time in the US but it will drive the missus round the bend :P

I have a friend in the US who has had a flight cancelled by Virgin and has also, like someone above mentioned, been told May 6th/7th which would be terrible for everyone involved to be fair.

Just wondering. Isn't the volcano that erupted next to a much bigger one that may be triggered into going off by these events? If so, how big is this other one and what would the consequences be?

As long as its not Armageddon on the way. There does seem to have been a lot of natural disasters these last few years though. Somethings brewing methinks.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
