Just cos i'm not a baghead who's looking over his shoulder constantly doesn't make me a narc. I'm just sensible enough to keep my gear well stashed and not walk round the site gurning in full view of police.

It can be done without worrying about the police you know?

seriously? i've seen a few people say this but i never really took that much notice. me and my group all went to see him but left half way through - we all agreed he was pretty dire. the 5 minute gaps between each song and the constant mumbling about absolutely nothing didn't really do it for me.

if you genuinely enjoyed him then that's fair enough, but it appeared that he was either too tired or too old to be up there, hence the long gaps between each song.

so someone has just told me, he is.

I can't verify that info as accurate, but I've no reason to think it's not true.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
