Placebo was the first gig I ever went too. I even made it to the video of Every You Every Me. :P

I'd go and see them if they were playing although I haven't really got into their stuff since Black Market Music.

I would love to see them play but don't think they ever have at Glastonbury? Not sure but they havent in the last 4 years thats for sure. Brilliant live band. Meds is a superb album and I like their lastest effort

Excellent live band. saw them at Rockness last yesr, unfortunately Brian stormed off stage, ranting that someone had thrown a pair of scissors at him ,and that his safety could not be guaranteed . He came back after ten minutes......... it appears the scissors were left there by one of the roadies!

Great gig though... and loud as f**k!

Normally I'm with you 100% Ivan but in this case I have to disagree.

Placebo are one of the worst bands of all time.

I saw them a few weeks ago at Soundwave Festival in Adelaide, South Australia.

They were awful!!!

Boring to watch, and the sound was disgraceful.

It was quite disappointing as i quite like their records, but at this show they sucked.

Maybe they just had an off day.

I'd be happy to see them

They've always been great live when I've seen them, and after Meds I though Battle for the Sun was a return to form. Though I would agree that it doesn't quite top the first 3 albums. Still they're a fun band and I go find them, were they to play.

would love it! I thought they were really good at reading last year. was gutted i couldn't make it to their tour.

Unfortunately i think they're a Sonisphere exclusive?

EDIT: aye - http://uk.sonispherefestivals.com/2010/01/...-for-knebworth/

British Alt-rockers Placebo returns to the big stage in 2010 for an exclusive festival appearance at Knebworth

    • Well worth watching and the 2 Punisher series can be viewed alone, season 1 being the better one but both pretty good.   Bernthal's Frank Castle first showed up in Daredevil in a couple of episodes before the standalone Netflix Punisher series then popped up again in Daredevil: Born Again before this years One Last Kill and Spider-Man. To be honest all those old Marvel Netflix shows from the Defenders universe are worth a watch. I recently went through them all in order and really enjoyed.

    • Hello eFestivals.   Some of you may remember a vehement poster of these parts who posted by the name of @Mash011 mainly in the 2010s.   Unfortunately he sadly passed away a couple of years back but today would have been his birthday and I think it’s only right that his old friends from the forum pay tribute to him (I’m his brother and I know he didn’t have many friends outside of this place).   Please join me in wishing a happy birthday to deadly departed beloved ex-poster @Mash011.   Happy birthday!
