Robbie Williams!

Cool. At the risk of losing the HUGE board cred I've gained over the years, I actually have my fingers crossed for this.

Not that far apart. Now, if you were saying the London Philharmonic followed by Anal C**t, I'd agree with you.* :P

Robbie Williams (well, his music) is a guilty pleasure. I'd definitely go and watch him and have a singalong.

*Disclaimer - please be aware that I am not saying RW is anywhere near the talent and genius of SW, nor that I'd look forward to him anywhere near as much!

Don't own anything by Robbie & wouldn't normally choose to see him live or anything but saw him when he played Glastonbury before & was pleasantly surprised. Seemed to me a very good entertainer & really got the crowd going.

Not sure if I'll bother going to see him again though - as with all acts announced so far it all depends what else is on at the same time!

If it came about that he was to play......

I would be there like a shot.

Also for Take That.

I think he is an entertainer and that's what draws me

Same with Take That

Music snobbery aside from the 90's when I would laugh...Oh I would laugh when my female friends all creamed to the boys and followed them around like sheep (one in particular who did more than just followed them :P )

Now in my elder statesman years I appreciate a good show and they give a good show.

I always sing Strudder's name to "Strutter" by Kiss in my head. For the record.

I'll watch RW. My wife likes him. I've told I'll watch him, unless there is something else that I'm particularly bothered about.

Remeber their '94 appearance fondly :P

Didn't he (or his record company), get totally sued by Karl for ripping off this track without their concent as well at the time?

He also got sued later on again didn't he by one of his old mates who turned out to have written another of his 'signature' songs . . .

Pattern here?

I was hoping the pre-stevie slot would really impress me and make me want to go see stevie cos I am in two minds(not really my thing, would be ok for an hour but don't know still if I will enjoy the whole set). Damn you robbie, ..I'd enjoy rock dj and that's it :P

Not really. Other artists who have been sued in such a way include George Harrison, The Verve, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin - there's loads of them.

good grief. This has to be some kind of a sick joke, right?

Why on earth would this monumental cockcobbler be anywhere near this festival?

Hopefully God sees fit to "do a Kylie" on him between now and june.

He is a disgusting human being.

Considering the crowds for Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen over the last few years, the Pyramid Stage would be rammed, 80k+ for Robbie Williams. I like him actually, wouldnt really listen to him or anything but hes harmless.

If we start talking about Kanye West, well now, thats a different story.
