That would be funny as hell. Flaming lips would absolutely blow them out the water.

Wayne and the boys could teach you upstartes what it really means to be the "best live band in the world".

Plus, muse nicked all their live stunts from the lips anyway so they could use the same stage set up.

How about, for something a bit different, Peter Kay before U2? He can sell out any arena he wants anywhere in country more or less as many times as he wants. he does songs. He's bloody funny. I've never seen him and I want to.

I've always loved the idea of some comedy on the Pyramid - just to see if it works. You could get Eddie Izzard before Muse and someone funny AND American before SW - I just can't quite think of anyone now that Carlin's dead as well as Hicks.

Well go and see him then !

If Eavis cannot get Mr Kay should we have an hour of Gervais instead !

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
    • Will be curious to see how most of those shows sell. Surprised they're playing Leeds and Manchester - much as I am with Megadeth. (Not complaining, mind you.)
