All these hints that they're keeping Muse in reserve for a bigger act are intriguing. I guess there must be some weight behind it or they would have officially announced Muse last week. I reckon we won't get an announcement til 'mid-feb' like Emily hinted at before. Maybe Friday or next Monday?

You know, it may be as a result of being young / a regular Reading goer that is going Glastonbury for the first time, but it seems really stupid to me all the old people complaining about muse headlining.

Russy you really are a clown. Click on the saturday gig and all you can get is the level 5 tier with a maximum of a 1 person booking. So theres probably a few dotted around. Really lots isn't it. Already sold out lancashire cricket ground.

I agree radiohead are a better band (as you seem to be a hardcore radiohead fan), but muse are one of the best british bands around at the moment so be proud and enjoy what they have on offer.

Oh and I went to see them at the O2 last november, and they are outstanding live. Anyone who says they are poor live really can't have seen them before.

I remember many years ago buying their first singles and thinking, this band could be huge. I wondered if one day they could actually be worth something. Well now they are huge but the singles are probably worth less than the plastic they're burnt on.

cool story bro etc.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
