Muse will only play one of the headline slots, as theyd want it dark and top of the bill on that stage at least. But I also can't see someone like Bellamy saying yea, ok, we've headlined the pyramid before so we wouldnt mind being on the other stage headlining.

Im going back against everything that I said before, and I think muse will be on the Pyramid, Saturday night.

If Emily was talking about Muse when she said "the Saturday is confirmed" what would have stopped her announcing it? Doesnt make sense to keep stum bout a band that speculation is rife about and have dates next year anyway.

My thoughts are that the Sat has got to be either the Stones (hope not) or the Zepp (i'll die a happy man etc) as U2 would be the Sat headliner unless someone bigger than them was also in the mixer.

Happy Chrimble!

I didn't say they would headline Saturday at all, I really doubt it but I would live it if they did. I was correcting someone else about it being Muse, and your right there wouldn't really be anything in theory stoping them from announcing Muse apart from maybe they have a PR schedule in getting people to pay off deposits(People more likely to wait til pay dad after Christmas, pure speculcation) which is why I doubt they are headlining the pyramid.

I can't believe the amount of people in this thread who seem to think Rage (as they seem to be called these days) are serious contenders for Sunday headliners. Is this on the back of them being Christmas No 1? Seem an unlikely choice to me, can't even see them in the lineup at all to be honest.

If they did play they would headline (I assume), whether they will or not is an entirely different matter. They might be in the country around the same time and they have played before so I suppose it could happen but I very much doubt it. Eavis probably see's them as "too heavy" these days.

http://www.musewiki.org/Rage_Against_the_Machine - Just read that about Muse loving them. For some reason I always forget bands can like other bands...doh.
