Might as well get the Pogues, cheaper (probably) and better.

I heard 'Drunken Lullabies' on a Tony Hawks game years and bought an album off the back of it, but it seemed to me a bad photocopy of loads of bands from the late 80s/early 90s, the Pogues, The Cropdusters, faster bits of The Whiskey Priests, Blyth Power etc etc etc.

Flogging Molly would be a great call, would love to see them in Avalon but I suspect they would draw too big a crowd.

They'd almost certainly be a lot cheaper than the Pogues!

why not go the whole way and get Dropkick Murphys aswell

saw them at leeds 2008,they were one of if not the best band there,such great performance,sounded perfect,great crowd banter,it was in the smallest tent and on the last day,the crowd were goin mental and loving it!, they could play any stage at glasto and go down amaingly.

yep, songs about pirates as well as the usual Irish stuff, always goes down well.

I have seen them 4 times now, and they always rock the place.

I'd love them. Great live band. Played Leeds 06 and 08 and was in the crowd going mental on both occasions. Really good fun
