Pulp may reform for Glasto 2010

Good news for Pulp fans - JARVIS COCKER has hinted the band might reform for next year's Glastonbury.

The singer let slip they could be heading for the mud in June, saying: "Glastonbury means an awful lot to me, I would love to play there again. We've talked about it, there we go, there'll be a band reunion."

WOW!

If Pulp reform and play Glasto next year I only want to know about it on the day I travel to Worthy Farm as knowing any sooner will take up every living second thinking about how great it will be.

I just cant handle this rumour - I am already over-excited - please let it be true!

Thanks for tellling us shanndy.

"And down the dark corridors of your suffering, this will seem like a memory of heaven . . ."

Seriously though, among my most important Glasto memories over the years are those where I was squashed up against the main stage barrier in '95 and '98 in front of Pulp.

It was watching them headline in 95, not long after I first heard His 'n' Hers, that inspired me to go to Glasto for the first time in 97. And I was there in the mud watching them in 98, and they were amazing, well worth spending a weekend in cold, wet mud for.

Right, lets get this sorted so that I can go back to being able to think of other things apart from a Pulp reunion.

Will someone please ring jarv and tell him we all think the reunion is a great idea and for him to issue a confirmation statement in the next few days.

This reunion really does need to happen - I dont think some people realise just how important a Pulp Glasto reunion would be, not only for world peace, but for all the tins of corned beef with missing keys. For all the blades of grass that have gone yellow from being covered with an old useless flower pot. For all humanity, for all aliens (including predator), for all animals, inspects and ink jet printers...

PULP MUST REFORM!!!

THEY JUST MUST!!!

    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
