Depleted Groups

As the title says. 3 of our group from last year due to not being able to get tickets yesterday due to various reasons. Was thinking yesterday how lucky I was to get my ticket but it puts a downer on it when you realise you entire group weren't quite so lucky. I imagine there will be quite a lot of larger groups in a very similar situation.

I may take a cardboard cut out of them all along to Glasto

There are normally a few of us, but only two this year. To be honest the others had become complacent and were getting their tickets 'later'.

Personally I will be up at the crack every ticket Sunday, sitting at my pc hitting refresh like a robot, until I have bought my tickets.

Couldn't do it any other way.

We have two missing. One didn't realise her reg wasn't valid and the other's was valid but it wouldn't accept his post code. It's a real shame but hopefully we can all try to get them tickets in the next sale.

Last year I saw someone walking round in a t-shirt which said. My mate couldn't come, text him on "his mobile number" and tell him how much fun you are having.

Or even their head on a flag to honour them

my group has gone from 4 to 10

2009 there was me and another friends.

2010 my other friends couldnt get a ticket and there will be about 5 more

Only 3 of our 10 got tickets. Nothing to do with luck though, they were just lazy and complacent.

Out of my 40ish group all 40 have tickets, all apart from two by about 9.15am. It's all in the planning

Missing a couple of people, but we'll all be doing everything we can to get them tickets in the re-sale etc.

Yeah agree it is all in the planning and making sure you have everything. Hopefully there will be enough spare tickets in the re-sale. Though how many actual tickets are left now and will beome available after Jan is anyones guess.

But if your group like ours is depleted you need to honour the missing people or at least annoy them by sending constant picture messages

Despite reminding our friends weekly they they need to register we still had a large number fail to sort it out in time, which considering how much we bore people down the pub with Glasto stories is amazing. Anyway, looks like we've got one of our old colleagues back this year and hopefully one or two may get tickets on the re-sales.... although if they all get sorted we may need a bigger boat,... errr minibus I mean.
