That nearly made me cry. This has been an emotional rollercoaster.

My first post this year in the Weather thread, what self control. But never in the field of human festivalling, have I been more optimistic about a wall to wall blinder, for my Glasto 20th Anniversary

Saw Mr Ayres play this live in 94/95 in the recently opened Jazz/World field, I think those two years were probably the best weather the fest has ever seen....

The Magnificent Mr Roy Ayres and "Everybody Loves the Sunshine" (apologies if repost)

Was down on site yesterday and it was a baking dust bowl :D Back down tomorrow for much the same :D:D

Can I just say thank you for the sterling work the ladies and gents of this thread have done. Some may say that the weather would do what it wants and of course they are correct, But I know that the postive people of this thread have influenced that high to stick around, for that I salute everyone of you. I wish you all a great festival and hope you don't get too cooked in your tents in the mornings.

This early dose of job-well-done-backslapping is making me nervous.

Just to be on the safe side, can WE all go back to predicting mud & filth? That way we'll be 100% certain of the opposite?

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
