Though in all seriousness, MetOffice are saying

UK Outlook for Tuesday 22 Jun 2010 to Thursday 1 Jul 2010:

Most areas of the UK should see plenty of fine and dry weather next week, with extended sunny periods and just a low chance of some showers developing inland from time to time. Northwestern areas may well be cloudier with occasional rain, although there should be periods of drier and brighter weather here too. Winds will be fresh at times in the northwest, but should stay light or moderate elsewhere. Beyond the weekend, many areas will remain mainly dry but there is a chance of more unsettled weather spreading from the west. Temperatures are expected to be warm at first, locally very warm in the southeast, but are likely to return to near normal in northern and western parts towards the end of the month.

this has just been posted on the forum that JACKONE puts his updates.

From what I posted in the Model Output discussion, I think from the latest model output there is a chance of some showers towards the end of the festival (drop in the mean GFS ens) Though the ECM solution would keep a dry festival. Keep updated to Jackone's daily updates, they are very detailed, understandable to all viewers and an excellent read.

    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
