If you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from hope, then you will find salvation.

I will make this into a great Glastonbury Festival and I will bless you; I will make Glastonbury's name great, and it will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless Glastonbury, and whoever curses Glastonbury I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through Glastonbury.

I just wanted to add my thanks to devonhammer, I now feel like a weather expert, when all I really know is how navigate though some charts. Awesome, gives me a feeling of control, totally false feeling I guess, but control is control.

thanks again

Don't tell anyone this. It's like the Magic Circle. That is all that 99% of us know. Back in the day when I learnt this stuff we did it manually. The Met Office now have two f***in powerful supercomputers so chances of beating them are between slim and none.

Look at the charts, throw in a few phrases like "ensembles are agreeing", "worrying trough forming" and of course "finger from the Azores" and you're a meteorologist. :D

I like the look of that latest report from Jackone.

Dry for the start of the festival, with a chance of it being unsettled towards the end, but with it looking like even that may get better in the next few days. :)

I will take that.

for the first time ever, this year i haven't felt remotely worried about the weather. I'm convinced it's going to be glorious from start to finish. there, i've said it....

loving the weather chat, chart interpretation and talk of warm french fingers, as ever though. keep it up!

no rain

no mud

NO compromise!

:D

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
