Monthly outlook from positive weather solutions.....

June starts with some reasonably fine and dry weather around, and with a number of days worth of pleasant sunshine in a row, it will feel warm to very warm at times. Showers are likely to be in evidence though at times, chiefly to the north. The relatively settled pattern continues into the second week, so again, expect the lion's share of the better weather, with some dry and sunny conditions, and warm temperatures to match. After mid-month, temperatures may cool off somewhat, and there is increasing dischord in the weather, which means showers and more likely, and indeed, the odd deluge or two cannot be ruled out. These showers will try to forge together to damage June further, but a repair will take place late on in the month, and we can expect drier and warmer weather to prevail, which will take us into July.

Temperatures for the month will reflect average values.

Ok so June 19th - everyone up for a little rain dance? Langdale's Dad's birthday, Remote's mum's BBQ, & my wedding - all to be a complete washout in exchange for a sunny Glastonbury?

Can anyone throw in any more sacrifices for June 19th to appease the rain god's? It looks like the day for it!

Just trawled back through some old posts to see if I could find what I offered sacrifice in order to get good weather in 2008. We did it too :D

I lived in Manchester for 6 years, I still can't work out if I was brave or stupid, but I can concur, the weather did seem to be more inclement than other places.

    • The Reds felt premierleage soft -  but also probably legitimate  rules wise-  think some of us including me might have to ajust our normal judgement on this a bit   Good luck to Christian Romero -
    • And....  the perfect act to sub headline pre  Bonobo.  -   Max Cooper on before for a fantastic double just those new Park screens wont know what hit them with Max Visuals -
    • I think people that used to be able to do a lot of gigs have had to be more picky and make a decision rather than going to most of what they’d have been able to previously. The prices are just crazy now and if you add in spending money, transport & a potential hotel, all of which has gotten more expensive unless it’s a local gig or smaller independent venue it becomes holiday money. Even if your local and it’s an arena gig it could be higher than a days pay for some.
