Heard that alright. Not sure if they like the "hippy" thing either but they seemed to enjoy 2009. They put up a couple of videos online and I've read a couple of quotes etc.

IMO glasto is as un-commercial as it can be to be financially viable to go ahead

rumour has it - I don't know if it's true - that they lost out on headlining Glasto in the late nineties because of their money demands. That's apparently the reason why it was so many years before they played Glasto again.

They headlined in 97 and Liam gave out after about the shoddy setup, the stage and the sound. He dirtied his bib there.

I forget which year it was now, but they were supposedly asked to headline again and asked for £250k or something and wouldn't budge from that. As Glasto was paying something like £100k to its headliners at the time that made them an impossibility, and their demands meant that they didn't get asked again for years.

Tour announcement due tomorrow. Looks like a December tour to coincide with the 15 year Fat of the Land anniversary release.

Lets hope for smallish venues.

They have a bit of a love affair with Brixton Academy. Played 3 nights there on their Invaders tour instead of a London arena show, including a late show till 3am. Hoping for the same this time.
