Would that be with a capital E?

I was writing in a fashion suited to sputtering tea out all over the place.

I can only assume that you are subject to a constant geyser of the stuff, in order to justify your comedic spelling and grammar.

I think that some of the attacks on The Shings have got a little out of hand. He made a mistake of claiming to be superior, and everyone has leapt out and attacked him on his poor spelling and grammar. Surely we should be focused solely on the flawed arguments about drugs, rather than police others' use of the English language so severely?

what the f**k happened here? I left this thread last night, having posted something very reasonable, I've just had a look back, and it's all kicked off like drunken Geordies on a day trip to Scarborough. f**king hell.

Chocolate Mousse all round. Easy now people.

Oh that was fun reading all that back in one go

Drugs are bad...right...

alcohol is not a drug according to most of the public cos its legal, you can go into a shop or pub and get merry so this makes it good yes? and yet it causes more deaths than all the other drug abuse combined by a cubic f**kton!

I will refer to and lift and copy from my Happy High Herbs book (which describes natural unadulterated herbs that are meant for us to enjoy without harm or hangover.) It categorises the natural herbs you can buy or obtain pretty easily to obtain a natural high with...and brings this valid and true point up...

Hops

A close relative of cannabis, hops have been used for centuries in beer brewing. Ironically Henry VIII banned the addition of hops to ales and beers and described hops as 'a wicked weed that would endanger the people'. of course, hops beer is now one of the most freely available and socially acceptable drugs and certainly has 'endangered the people' with all the hram and tragedy from motor vehicle accidents, social and domestic violence, misadventure, alcoholism, liver damage and fatal drug combinations etc.

And yet, its botanical cousin, the hemp plant, a revered herb an Henry VIII's time, is currently banned in our time!

The current drug lawsagainst cannabis are really a discriminatory joke. Especially when one condisers the drinking of its botanical relative, hops beer by most o fthe politicians, police etc who impose these draconian laws. Even more especially when one weighs up the adverse effects of alcohol on society with the relative harmlessnesss of cannabis and other so called drugs.

And to add...copy from The Guardian, 29th May 2009.

Not really sure what we are all going on about now with this thread but it has been fun reading it B)

Drug Lore NOT Drug Law!!!

    • f**king horrendous and seems they couldn’t run an egg and spoon race.  zero info and the crush waiting to get in to see Massive Attack was potentially disasterous. Zero info, no stewards at all and was told that the whole evening was cancelled, when we got to the exit. Because it rained. First time attendee and i’ve got onsay, i’m far from impressed. Scalping bastard taxis asking €37 plus for an €11 fare too. Wonderdul.
    • Rumours are it's called The Lost Tour. In the US in September. Ireland in November (so UK+Europe a good bet around November/early December).
    • Hey guys, is there a group going for any solo y not goers this year?? I couldn’t miss out once I saw the acts but it’s just me and would be great to meet some others:))
    • After deciding to abandon the festival, here's a few of my thoughts (mostly negative tbf).    On the positive side - was it just me or were there a few more urinals than last year? Seemed to help the queues at the loos a bit from what i saw. Plus they had at least had some foresight and had a few more covered areas in the VIP areas.    Now on the negatives.  The weather was admittedly pretty crap but it wasn't apocalyptic. How the actual f**k are bits of the main stage falling off in those conditions?  Then the communication was awful, there's a load of people who left the site because they were told by security guards/other personnel that there would be no more acts on the main stage this evening.  You have an app Primavera, use it! Yes, there's a shitload going on I'm sure but communication with the festivalgoers should be one of the top priorities. You failed.    And I'm not usually somebody who buys into the whole "oh this is hugely unsafe and it's lucky people weren't hurt" narrative, but all the above led to movements of people that were genuinely unsafe.  Evacuating Mordor entirely (again... Why???) and then having a horde of people trying to get in because they thought they were going to Massive Attack was insane.  And given a lot of people basically abandoned ship around 10.30pm the crush at both the exit to the festival and the entrance to the Metro was pretty dangerous.   Conditions happen, most people will get that....but the contingencies have to be better.
    • You'd think that something like bad weather was in the basics of festival planning. After the shitshow of Madrid, you'd think they'd learnt their lesson, apparently not...
