Yes they may have a 'legal' right to take it, but does that make it right? You need to look past the big Great Britain book of rules & start reading the is it right or wrong in the bigger scheme of things book.

I would moan just as much if I had stuff confiscated in a club. It will have been hard earned money taken from me just the same as at the gates of a festival.

I abide by the law for the most part although there are some things which I do not agree with so tend to ignore them, by doing his I do not harm anyone else, interfere in anyone elses business, or as far as I know create a problem for anybody.

Where is the problem?

We've lost focus without him...

Let's get the ball rolling again;

Mmmm... I've just been to McDonalds and had a burger and a shake.

Made me think of this thread.

eh???

How on earth does that work? If I plonk a gram of MDMA into a bottle of water, does that make it a drink thus OK? If I snort vodka, does that make it a drug thus not OK?

Nonsense. Drugs, booze whatever... for inexplicable reasons, some are legal, some ain't. Weirdy laws set down by our out of touch government. Most don't agree with them, which unfortunately forces those who fancy a smoke, toot, dab or whatever to become criminals! Its just a bit of escapism from the drudgery of life. Yeah, sometimes it can go wrong... this can apply to alcohol, doing a bungy jump or crossing the world, but life is for living... and that involves taking risks.

You know on Thursday I was stood in the Greenfields and I did actually think. "What this festival is crying out for is a Mcdonalds, or even better a Starbucks".

I will be writing to Mr Eavis, as he is missing out on an opportunity.

How good would that be? A nice sausage and egg McMuffin every morning.

It would work so well. And fit right in with the ethos of the festival.

Rufus, you should start the first franchise... you'd make a killing! You could charge double normal price.
