With no leftfield this year Where will the Glastonbury regular that is Billy Bragg be ?

I really don't think he's playing. I've been waiting for news but...nothing.

Billy is in the Uk and is touring. I doubt he'll be there for a storming sunday night set, but I wouldn't put it past him to appear on site at some stage for a chat about the unions and the need to keen the left field alive.

Sorry, had to pop and do some work there. Ok, so to follow up on previous post am still hopeful and been awaiting some news but nothing yet. I did some sleuthing and The Imagined Village, a project with which he sings, are playing fairly locally on the Wed & Thu and then again the following Friday (by local that is Bridport, Dorset & Frome, Somerset). Eliza Carthy, who is also part of The Imagined Village, plays Avalon on the Saturday so with any luck & a prevailing wind he'll folllow her there!!

i'm fairly convinced he's not going to be there. I put something up on the BB forum, and got no reply, he's touring wales at the moment, he's pretty active, so thought if he was playing, it would be out by now, none of the lineups have him, just can't see it happening. It's a real pisser

are you sure that billy is still performing with Imagined Village? I know that they're doing some shows somewhen without him, but can't remember when those shows are.

My son emailed Billy to ask where he would play with the Leftfield absent. He emailed back to say that he was giving the performing a rest this year but is attending as a punter with his family.

Wouldnt be surprised if he does an impromptu performance somewhere tho - bet I bloody miss it as well!
