No thanks!

I'll always remember seeing Art Brut in Northampton at the legendary Soundhaus the same night as The Twang played the Roadmender and during Nag Nag Nag the lyrics "I’m nothing to my peers, but envy and hatred. How many girls have they seen naked?" were altered to "How many girls have The Twang seen naked?" And I know its random to bring up but it was so funny at the time when around 150-200 of us were witnessing one of the best Soundhaus sets of all time whilst 600 people were crammed into the lifeless Roadmender watching The Twang.

However, its still nice if they play for those who like em (Y)

'A sense that The Twang are destined for greatness engulfs the venue' - THE GUARDIAN

'the reason The Twang have risen so swiftly is, simply, because they write better, more exciting and fresher sounding songs than anyone else' - TIME OUT

'Swaggering, big hearted rock'n'roll mischief from Birmingham.' - NME

f**king woeful "band" in every sense.

Cant describe how much I hate them, like a shit Streets,

He sounds/rhymes worse than Shaun Ryder which is saying something

even though SOME of Shaun Ryders lyrics are rather clever.

But yeno... enjoy them

Love The Twang, ok they won't win any Ivor Novello's but all the same their live shows are fun. Sometimes people need to remember that music can be fun you know!!!!

How many bands have the enthusiasm of The Twang????

They caught my ears, in the run up to 2008.

I liked.

I liked the cheery singable stuff. No awards due maybe, but they're a plucky little lot. Someone once described them as a "chav" band... but if only Liam and Noel were making as good as songs as them, it could be true

I like 'em. Seen them twice, both times were enjoyable. I used to hate them until I saw teh TV footage of them at Glasto a couple of years back and they were so enthusiastic and clearly really enjoying what they were doing I thought I'd give them a go. Glad I did, a lot of fun, probably got no shelf life but good to see a band just in it for a good time

I saw them at V last year and they were brilliant. Looked genuinely pleased to be there and couldn't thank the crowd enough. A bunch of lads done good - Isn't that what the dream is all about.

Give them a chance - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised especially if they get an indoor area like the JP or even the "dreaded" Queens Head.
