I don't know about anyone else but in the few months leading up to Glastonbury I often discover new bands and am reminded how good some of the oldies are. So rather than starting a new thread each week asking who might be playing I thought I'd keep them in one place. This week..

Personally, I really liked The Mummers and I didn't know Carole King had been responsible for so many great songs. I'd make an effort to see both of them if they were playing.

The trouble is that they show a cut down show on the Tuesday night so those of us that watch the full show on the Friday night are a bit behind!

I wasn't a fan of Karima Francis. I hate people who mumble when they sing. I couldn't work out more than about 2 words of what he was singing.

I ve been aware of The Mummers for a while now - the album (Ep) is really good and was so pleased to see a positive reaction on these boards.

Carole King was absolutely fantastic and she would make a very brilliant legend spot on the Sunday.

You may not know her name but you will know her songs.

Doves were great and having seen them in Warrington in March they would have been great headliner outdoors.

Grandmaster Flash was great, Doves were good (but not worthy of the kind of comments they get on these boards) and I also enjoyed the Noisettes.
