Just think we need some more happiness. so i think i'll kick it all off by saying that i am very excited about the prospect of seeing the mighty fleetwood mac and i'm also very excited about the fact that its less than 90 days until the best festival on earth.

really should have checked my thread title.

It's Friday, not long to go until home time! I got my tickets today to see the Manics at Wolverhampton, so far so good!

Oh and I have the ingredients at home to make a lush G+T, good times indeed!

What a great line -up! The Wonder Stuff and Dodgy! Heaven for me.

I must be the only one pleased because the main stage headliners do not appeal to any of my festival croud!! Usually i have to decide whether to follow my friends to watch some current "quality" band I don't like (coldplay, KOL, Stereophonics etc) or risk not finding my friends in the drunken mess that is post 12am.

thank you Glastonbury organisors - I can't wait! :P

How lovely to see so many happy glastonbury folk!!!

Yes its a good day, got my Depeche Mode tickets for Glasgow, never been there for a gig for about 15 years so looking forward to that one! The sun has been shining. I have no worries. I am temping therefore no work problems. Most of all its only 88 flippity flippin sleeps till we hit the long and winding road from Jarrow to Worthy Farm!!!

Come on people, lets keep smiling!!! It's not long now!!!

I am really excited about taking my little brother this year, he's watched on tv since I've been going and really wanted to come but I was a bit worried about taking him! Can't wait to lead him upto the stone circle (blind folded of course!) and turn him round to see the site for the 1st time.

I literally CANNOT WAIT!!!

I was sitting in the doctor's waiting room today and it just dawned on me that THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST GLASTONBURY EVER!!

What little I know about the line up has got me stupidly excited- Madness, The Wonder Stuff, The Specials, Dodgy, Squeeze, Bloc Party, Dub Pistols, Easy Allstars (and I'm not including Franz Ferdinand who I love but I've seen them at Glasto twice already)

The weather is going to be ACE!!! Apparently the last one with very little rain was 2003 and I started going in 2004. So the law of averages suggests this one will stay dry and sunny all long weekend.

I went last year for the first time and had the most incredible 5 days of my life.

This year I'm going back and taking my three younger brothers and Dad in a camper. It's going to be AMAZING!!

Being unemployed at the moment, I have no holidays booked, nothing much to look forward to. Glasto is the light in an otherwise dark year.. Shine on you crazy diamond of a festival!!!
